This study investigates the relationship between economic growth and employment in Pakistan at aggregate sectoral levels. It uses different econometric models, such as Cobb-Douglas production function, demand model, ARDL to analyze data test hypotheses. finds that does not create enough jobs for population there is a mismatch output of sectors. shows service sector, which fastest-growing sector Pakistan, has contradictory weak impact on growth, it relies more capital-intensive technology. recommends government policy makers should focus real especially industry positive significant effect growth. also suggests use its large source labor-intensive development rather than relying
